UCLA Softball Releases 2023 Schedule
Bruins to Host 27 Games at Easton Stadium
Cathedral City, CA – The official 2023 softball schedule for the UCLA Bruins was released today by head coach Kelly Inouye-Perez. The Bruins will host 27 games at Easton Stadium this season, including 10 against ranked opponents.
UCLA will open the season with a pair of games against Long Beach State on February 10th and 11th at Easton Stadium. The Bruins will then travel to San Diego for the San Diego Classic, where they will face No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 2 Texas, and No. 16 San Diego State.
UCLA will return home for a 12-game homestand from February 24th to March 11th. The Bruins will host No. 7 Arizona, No. 14 Oregon, and No. 18 Stanford during that stretch.
The Bruins will close out the regular season with a three-game series against No. 5 Arizona State at Easton Stadium from May 5th to 7th. The Pac-12 Tournament will be held from May 11th to 14th in Las Vegas, Nevada. The NCAA Tournament will begin on May 19th.
Inouye-Perez is excited about the upcoming season and believes that her team has the potential to be one of the best in the country. "We have a lot of talent and experience on this team," she said. "I'm confident that we can compete for a national championship this year."
