UCLA Gymnastics Returns to NCAA Championships
Bruins Set to Compete in First NCAA Championship Since 2019
UCLA Gymnastics is set to make its first NCAA Championship appearance since 2019, as announced by the NCAA on Monday. The Bruins will compete in the NCAA Championships in Fort Worth, Texas, from April 14-16.
UCLA finished the regular season with a 19-4 record and a No. 4 ranking in the final Road to Nationals rankings. The Bruins won the Pac-12 Championship for the fourth consecutive year and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships.
"We are excited to be back in the NCAA Championships," said UCLA head coach Valorie Kondos Field. "Our team has worked hard all season, and we are ready to compete for a national championship."
The Bruins will face some of the top teams in the country at the NCAA Championships, including No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 2 Utah, and No. 3 Florida. UCLA will need to perform at its best to earn a spot on the podium.
"We know the competition will be tough," said Kondos Field. "But we believe in our team, and we are ready to give it our all."
