The Bombers To Play First Eight Games In Melbourne

The Essendon Football Club's official AFL website has announced that the team will play its first eight games in Melbourne. This includes marquee matches against Geelong and the Western Bulldogs.

The Bombers' first game of the season will be against the Cats at Marvel Stadium on March 18. They will then face the Dogs at the same venue on April 1.

Essendon will also play games against the Brisbane Lions, Gold Coast Suns, North Melbourne, and St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

The Bombers' only away game in the first eight rounds will be against the Sydney Swans at the SCG on April 8.
