Two-Goal Tau Leads Egyptian Giants to Victory

Two goals from Percy Tau have put Al Ahly on the verge of reaching the final of the CAF Champions League. The Egyptian giants defeated ES Sétif 2-0 in the first leg of their semi-final clash at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday.

Tau opened the scoring in the 35th minute, finishing off a cross from Hussein El Shahat. The South African forward doubled his tally nine minutes later, converting a penalty after he was fouled in the area. ES Sétif had a few chances to get back into the game but failed to find the back of the net.

The win gives Al Ahly a comfortable advantage going into the second leg in Algeria next weekend. The Egyptian club is aiming to win its third Champions League title in a row and extend its record to 11 titles overall.
