The EFL schedule for the 2022-23 season has been confirmed, with the Sky Bet Championship season starting on August 5, 2022, and ending on May 6, 2023. There will be a total of 46 matchdays during the season, with each team playing each other twice, once at home and once away.
The play-offs will be held over two legs, with the semi-finals taking place on May 15 and 16, 2023, and the final taking place on May 28, 2023. The winner of the play-off final will be promoted to the Premier League for the 2023-24 season.
